“ Oh my YUM! I wandered in on a cold wet day and was greeted by a real character. Promptly offered red or white … just after midday so red it was. Huge balloon glass. Popped to the (very clean) loo and returned to basket of fresh bread drizzled with delicious oil some amazing local Salami. I was then offered fresh buffola mozarella which I turned down - host suggested porchetta. This came with artichokes in Italian style. So SO good. Finished off with house special desert and a coffee (to offset the wine). As other people arrived the host basically seemed to judge their order on the way they looked. Everything looked so good. Meats are freshly sliced. It was dark and cosy and I felt safe and cared for. Come here. It’s great. ”

“ The owner and his wife of the restaurant treated me very warmly. They said I was the first Asian customer and the first Taiwanese customer. If I hadn’t been accompanied with my Italian friend, I probably wouldn’t have dared to walk into the restaurant because I couldn’t understand the Italian menu. When I walked into the restaurant, I was deeply attracted by the wide variety of wine bottles on the wall. I felt that their restaurant decoration was very warm. As for the food, I was able to enjoy fresh and delicious meals, which allowed me to truly enjoy Italian cuisine. I am from Taiwan, and I highly recommend my Taiwanese people to visit this restaurant and accept the hospitality of the owner and his wife if they come to Brescia. ”

“ Went here for new years eve, made very welcome but I don't think Anna has any other setting. Great lady served our wine which we were spoilt for choice on with great flair. The meats and cheese was more than enough to keep us going for a couple of hours till midnight when we enjoyed a lovely rum and bourbon, served in the biggest glass I have ever used. If you like red wine a cosy feel come here, great place, if here for longer would have been back for another wine. ”
“ The amazing owner looked at us and telepathically said I needed a decent barolo and my wife a top end sparkling conegliano valdobbiadene prosecco. We concurred!He brought them, plus a platter of bread and beautifully thinly sliced ham. It was superb and I had change for 20 euros. Highly recommended. We've booked to return tomorrow evening! ”
